Hervey Bay New Mums

New Mum's Program

New Mumma - We've Got You!

We’re so very excited to be bringing our established New Mums program to Hervey Bay in 2025.

Everyday Mums offers a range of community, support and advisory services for women at various stages of Motherhood. We’ve been operating in Ipswich since 2020 (you can read more about our story here.) and so far we’ve welcomed literally hundreds of women through our doors!

Our flagship New Mums program is perfect for first, second, third or fifth time mums – the groups and the schedule is curated so  there really is something for everyone.

A welcoming safe space for new Mums to meet each week, connect, share the highs and lows and build a support network as they navigate their new role of Motherhood.

This program also includes local guest speakers who are all experts in their subject areas, and in the past have included Midwives, Psychologists, Nutritionist, Osteopath, Paediatric Chiropractors, Women’s Health Physiotherapists, Postpartum Doula’s, Paediatric First Aid Specialists, Postpartum Exercise PTs, Early Intervention Specialists and family photographers.

All of our activities and time together – whether it’s learning from experts or chatting with new friends –  focus on YOU, and supporting you to be able to make the most of these precious years in early Motherhood.

6 weeks to 8 months

Everyday Mums will hold our New Program at the Shedding – Corner Fraser St and, Cypress St, Torquay QLD 4655

Hear from our Mums

I have just finished the Springfield new mums program and I’m really glad I signed up! Being new to the area with no family support it has been great to meet other mums and make some lifelong friends. Guest sessions were interesting and informative with no obligations. Talia is awesome with communication and made us feel welcome from the start. I have also done the CrossFit - mumfit program which has been really fun. Highly recommend for any new mum looking for connection and guidance!

As a second time mum I joined the Mums Group for socialisation but came away with so much more. Each week a carefully mapped out class is given to educate and guide, not preach what you're doing wrong. Talia is very welcoming handing out support, holds a baby or two, and is free with the Tim Tams. I've signed up for another class now this one has ended and I have high hopes. Thank you Talia for creating a safe space where introverted mums can find their tribe

Find connection, friendship and support

With my first baby I signed up to Everyday Mums and Bubs group to meet others for socialisation and to have babies similar age for my daughter to have as friends she grows. It was a great 6 weeks, offering support and information from professionals in relation to the babies and looking after ourselves as mothers. Talia is fantastic and great communicator. We will be signing up to others next year.

I signed up for Everyday Mums not having very high expectations if I’m honest - I was only looking to join the group to have an excuse to get out of the house with my little one. However, what I experienced was much more than just a weekly excursion, and Thursday’s quickly became my favourite time of the week! Talia organised valuable and educated speakers to help us first time mums (and some second time mums) to navigate the complexities of our postpartum journeys. The other women in the group were all warm and friendly, with no judgment and a sympathetic ear on days where you’d rock up with little to no sleep or a bit of baby spit up on your clothes. The way Talia has structured the groups allows for genuine connections to be formed, encouraging us all to do a pre-class coffee and creating a group WhatsApp chat so we stay in touch long after the term has finished. If you’re a first-time Mum looking to meet likeminded women or for postpartum resources, don’t hesitate to enrol in an Everyday Mum’s group!

Do something brave, positive and empowering

For a first time mum not knowing many people in the area, let alone other Mums around Ipswich the community Talia has created at Everyday Mums has made all the difference to the beginning of my motherhood journey! Meeting so many other new Mums through the New Mums program has been truely amazing. I am looking forward to participating in the other programs Everyday Mums has to offer!
