Walking Club

EVERYDAY MUMS walking club

A free weekly walking group for mums of all ages and stages.

Real connection. One step at a time.

We know that motherhood looks different for everyone, different stages, different struggles, different needs.

That’s why we started the Everyday Mums Walking Club: it’s our way of offering something simple, accessible and powerful. A  chance to move your body, meet other mums, and feel part of something bigger. No bookings, no pressure. Just show up and walk.

We’re on a mission to move mums… as many mums as possible.

Why we started the Walking Club

Everyday Mums has always been about connection. Our paid programs support thousands of mums through early parenting, but we wanted to go one step further… literally, and create a free, community-driven way to stay connected.

The Walking Club is open to all mums, at any age or stage. Whether you’re a new parent with a pram, a mum of teens, or simply looking for a way to get out of the house, you’re welcome here.

We meet weekly in local areas to walk, talk, and enjoy fresh air together. The pace is gentle, the vibe is casual, and the invitation is always open.

How it works

• Free weekly walks hosted by a local Everyday Mums community volunteer

• Same day, same time each week, rain or shine (any changes shared via Instagram)

• Semi-structured format, each walk has a starting point and suggested route, but you’re free to walk as far or as little as you like

• No pre-registration required,  just turn up!

You’ll spot your host by their Everyday Mums shirt or hat (sometimes with a flag or marker).

We’re currently walking in a few local areas and expanding fast — scroll down to see if there’s one near you.

Interested in hosting a group in your town?

We’re building a movement — and we’d love you to be part of it.

You’ll need to:
– Choose a safe, pram-friendly walk route
– Commit to attending weekly (or help find a fill-in if you’re away)
– Wear your merch and act as a welcoming face for new mums
– Agree to our non-compete and basic host code of conduct

Safety, Terms + Disclaimer

Please note that all walks are community-led and hosted by Everyday Mums volunteers. By attending, you accept that participation is at your own risk and that neither Everyday Mums nor your walking host is liable for injury or incident.

We encourage all participants to:
– Bring water and wear sun protection
– Watch for hazards and follow local guidelines
– Be mindful of children, prams, and each other

FAQs

All you need to know

Nope! Just show up. Our walks are casual, community-based and completely free — no registration required. However we do ask that you sign in upon arrival.

Any mum, at any stage of motherhood. Whether you’ve got a baby in a pram, toddlers in tow, or older kids at school — you’re welcome.

Not exactly. While there’s definitely movement involved, the pace is relaxed and the goal is connection, not cardio. Walk as far or as little as you like.

We’d generally recommend comfortable shoes, a water bottle, and sun protection. If you’re bringing a little one, don’t forget the essentials: pram, carrier, snacks, nappies, etc.

Absolutely — all mums are welcome, and you’re free to walk with a friend or support person too. This is about connection and community.

Yes! Most mums walk with their babies or young children in prams, slings or carriers. Older kids are welcome if you think they’ll enjoy the walk too.

Each group will decide what’s best for their location and climate. Use your own discretion, if it’s too wet for you… Give it a miss that week.

Any cancellations or time changes will be shared via our Instagram page @everydaymums_walkingclub

No. It’s 100% free. We’re committed to keeping the Walking Club accessible to all mums.

Our walks are led by volunteer mums from the Everyday Mums community. They’ll be wearing an Walking Club shirt or hat and may carry a small flag to help you spot them.

All walks take place in public areas, typically in local parks or walking paths. While hosts are there to welcome you, they are not responsible for your safety. Please attend at your own discretion and be mindful of your surroundings and other people using public spaces and paths.

We get it, joining something new can be daunting. But we promise our walks are low-pressure, friendly, and welcoming. Just show up, say hello, and walk as little or as far as you like.

Yes! We’d love you to put your hand up if you believe that a walking club is needed in your area. If you’re interested in leading a group, click here and fill out the short expression of interest form.
